RUBBED FRIED CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS


Ingredients:

1 (1 kg) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS FRIED CHICKEN ALL DRUMSTICKS
3 cups cooking oil

Spice rub:

1 (2.3 g) tsp smoked paprika
1 (2.1 g) tsp coriander powder
1 (3.1 g) tsp garlic powder
1 (2.4 g) tsp onion powder
1/2 (0.9 g) tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 (1 g) tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine spices and mix well. Divide in two.
  2. Place chicken and its marinade in a bowl. Add half of the spice mix and rub well onto chicken.
  3. Dredge marinated spiced chicken into the breading mix and deep-fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown for 12 to 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Sprinkle remaining spice on top before serving.

Makes 8 servings.
(Yield: 8 pc rubbed fried chicken drumstick /1 pc per serving)
