TRIPLE CHEESE ANGUS BURGER WITH SWEET PEPPER RELISH & CRISPY FRIED ONIONS BY NINONG RY


Ingredients:

1 (860 g) pack CHEF’S SELECTION ANGUS BURGER PATTY, cooked according to package directions
1 (254 g) cup MAGNOLIA CHEESE SAUCE
1 (225 g) pack MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, sliced into 10
100 g CHEF’S SELECTION MOZZARELLA CHEESE
1/2 (127 g) cup MAGNOLIA SANDWICH SPREAD
5 pc burger buns, toasted
5 (100 g) pc lettuce leaves
sweet pepper relish, use 1 tbsp per burger
1 (80 g) pc tomato, sliced
crispy fried onions, use 2 tbsp per burger

Crispy Fried Onions

3 cups cooking oil
4 (200 g) pc onions, sliced

Sweet Pepper Relish

1-2 tsp cooking oil
3 (150 g) pc red bell peppers, finely diced
2 (100 g) pc green bell peppers, finely diced
1 (50 g) pc red onion, finely diced
1 (150 g) pc lemon, juice squeezed
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar

Procedure:

  1. In a skillet or pan, heat oil. Cook patties 5 minutes per side. While hot, top with cheeses.
  2. Meanwhile, spread sandwich spread on bottom part of the bun. Add lettuce, sweet pepper relish, tomato slices, burger patty and crispy fried onions. Cover with top part of the bun.
  3. Crispy Fried Onions: Fry onions in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  4. Sweet Pepper Relish: Sauté in 1-2 tsp used oil the red bell peppers followed by green bell peppers. Add lemon juice and then season with salt, pepper and sugar. Cook for a few seconds and the set aside.

Make 5 servings.
