TJ CHEESY CHRISTMAS TREE BREAD


Ingredients:

Dough:

2-1/2 tsp EMPEROR’S BEST INSTANT YEAST
1-1/8 cup water
3 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1-1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
3 tbsp sugar
1/3 cup + 1 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, softened
1 pc potato, boiled & mashed (about 1/4 cup mashed)
1 (500 g) pack PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG CHEESEBALLS (about 40 pc, reserve 15 pc for topping)

Topping:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE MILKY WHITE SPREAD
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1/2 (0.8 g) tsp garlic powder
1/2 (112.5 g) cup mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
1 (5 g) stalk green onions, chopped
1 (5 g) stalk parsley, chopped

Procedure:

  1. To make dough, combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead until the gluten is fully developed (around 10-15 minutes). Divide dough into 26 pieces (around 30 grams per piece). Cover with a damp cloth/plastic and rest for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Flatten dough and place a piece of hotdog ball in the center. Carefully close the seam by pinching the edges of the dough. Arrange dough to form a Christmas tree shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Proof for about 30-45 minutes or until doubles in size.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, combine cheese spread, milk and garlic powder and place inside piping bag. Carefully pipe the mixture on top of the bread. Sprinkle with grated cheeses. Top with remaining hotdog balls.
  4. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown in color. Sprinkle with green onions and parsley.

Makes 13 servings.
