THAI BEEF CALDERETA TOM YUM


Ingredients:

1 (450 g) pack PUREFOODS HEAT & EAT BEEF CALDERETA
6 cups beef stock
1 (20 g) tbsp instant sinigang powder mix
300 grams pad Thai rice noodles, cooked according to package directions
1 (110 g) cup bean sprouts
10 (8 g) pc Thai basil leaves
5 (17 g) stalks coriander leaves (wansoy)
1 (44 g) pc lime or lemon, sliced
1/4 (78.5 g) cup Sriracha sauce (optional)

Procedure:

  1. In a pot, combine caldereta, beef stock and tamarind powder. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. In a large serving bowl, add cooked noodles and pour beef mixture. Top with bean sprouts, basil and coriander leaves.
  3. Serve with lemon and Sriracha sauce on the side.

Makes 6 servings
(Yield: 9 cups/1-1/2 cups per serving)
