QUESO DE BOLA LECHE FLAN


Ingredients:

1/2 cup sugar
1 (350 g) pc MAGNOLIA QUESO DE BOLA, grated
12 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
2 (300 mL each) cans condensed milk
2 (370 mL each) cans evaporated milk

Procedure:

  1. Prepare steamer. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, caramelize sugar over moderate heat. Pour evenly on bottom and sides of four 5.5 inch long molds/llaneras. Cool down completely. Sprinkle 1/2 cheese into caramel-line pans. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly but gently so as not to form air bubbles. Strain and pour into prepared pans. Cover with foil. 
  3. Steam for 1 hour. Cool before unmolding.
  4. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top before serving.

Makes 16 servings.
(Yield: 4 llaneras/1/4 llanera per serving)
