HAWKER STYLE CHICKEN BBQ WITH CHILI GARLIC DIP


Ingredients:

1 (550 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS BBQ, cooked according to package directions
1 (40 g) pc red onion
2 cloves garlic
1 (30 g) thumb ginger, grated
2 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 cup chili garlic
1/4 cup hoisin sauce, mixed with 1/2 cup water

Procedure:

  1. With a mortar and pestle, mash onion, garlic, and ginger until pasty. Pour in sesame oil and mix well. 
  2. Add mixture into the marinated chicken and massage well. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour in the chiller.
  3. Preheat oven to 200ºC or an air fryer at 180ºC. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes or in the air fryer for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with chili garlic and hoisin sauce.

Makes 5 servings.
