FUNNEL CAKE


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack MAGNOLIA PANCAKE AND WAFFLE MIX
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
1 cup cooking oil
2 pc medium bananas, sliced
6 pc strawberries, sliced
1 can whipped cream

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine pancake mix, cornstarch, water and egg. Transfer batter into a squeeze bottle.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan. Gently squeeze the bottle gradually swirling the batter outwards in a circular motion, or criss-cross back and forth to make about 3” rounds. Fry until golden brown, turning once with a tong. Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
  3. Arrange banana and strawberry slices on top then top with a rosette of whipped cream.

Makes 3 servings.
Yield: 3 pieces funnel cake with fruits and whipped cream
