CHEESE FONDUE


Ingredients:

1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
2 (160 g each) packs MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
1 (2.3 g) tsp nutmeg
1 (500 g) pc artisan bread bowl, top portion sliced off and a portion of bread inside is scooped out to form a bowl

Assorted Fondue Dippers

100 g thick cut French fries, fried
100 g twister fries, fried
1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS SEAFOOD DELIGHTS SQUID RINGS, cooked according to package directions
1 (500 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS SPICY WINGS, cooked according to package instructions

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, combine cream, cheese and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the mixture become smooth. Set aside and keep warm.
  2. In a platter, arrange bread bowl in the center. Arrange fries, squid rings and wings around the bread bowl. Pour cheese sauce inside the bread bowl. Serve hot.

Makes 5 servings
(Yield: 2-1/3 cups sauce/about 1/2 cup per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Garnish with some chopped parsley for color.
