Halloween Snack Attack

BLOODY CHEESE DIP

Ingredients:

1 (225 g) pack MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, cubed
1 cup chopped red bell peppers
2 tbsp minced basil leaves
2 tbsp minced parsley
1-2 tbsp lime juice
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
pita chips or assorted vegetables

Procedure:

  1. In a food processor, combine the first eight ingredients; cover and process until blended.
  2. Serve with pita chips or vegetables.

QUICK SAND PUNCH

Ingredients:

1 (425 mL) tub MAGNOLIA ICE CREAM CLASSIC VANILLA
1 (435 mL) tub MAGNOLIA ICE CREAM CLASSIC CHOCOLATE
1 (1 L) pack MAGNOLIA CHOCOLAIT
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM, chilled

Procedure:

  1. Put first 3 ingredients in a blender. Pulse until smooth. Transfer in a container and put crushed Graham on top and stir slowly on top surface. Gently add cream and stir again gently. Serve cold.

Makes 4 to 5 servings.

HALLOWEEN BAT CAKES

Ingredients:

1 (500 g) pack MAGNOLIA FUDGE BROWNIE MIX, prepared according to package instructions
1 (237 g) cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or block, chopped
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
1/3 (of 200 g) bar MAGNOLIA BUTTER-LICIOUS!
12 pc oat cookies, each piece cut into half
1/2 (24 g) cup mini marshmallows
1 (19.8 g) tbsp chocolate syrup

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and line a mini muffin pan with 1 tbsp Butter-licious!. Set aside.
  2. Fill each muffin pan with cake mixture. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
  3. Heat cream and pour over chopped chocolates. Mix until smooth then add 1/4 cup Butter-licious!. Spread on top of each mini cupcake. Set aside.
  4. Place 2 half pieces of cookies on top of the mini cakes to form bat wings. Top with marshmallows dotted with chocolate syrup to form the eyes.

Makes 12 pieces.

CREEPY MARSMALLOW CUPCAKES

Ingredients:

1 (550g) box MAGNOLIA DEVILS FOOD CAKE, baked according to package directions
24 pc large marshmallows
2 cups store bought quick fondant icing
2 tbsp chocolate syrup

Procedure:

  1. Cut devil’s food cake into 24 pc squares.
  2. Place one marsmallow on each cupcake.
  3. Make eyes and mouth using chocolate syrup. Serve.
Makes 24 servings. (Yield: 24pc/1 pc per serving)
